About Us Casa Werma is part of an international community of urban meditation and rural retreat centers founded by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and further developed by his son and lineage holder Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.
Casa Werma is located in Pátzcuaro, Mexico. We operate as a retreat center, Shambhala program and practice center, and as a bed and breakfast for vacation rentals. The entire estate can also be rented for private events or groups. Come visit us for one of our upcoming programs, for a retreat, and to explore this fascinating area of Mexico. Our center, offers public meditation, a core curriculum of Buddhist and Shambhala teachings, as well as training in advanced contemplative practices.
